KARL ALLEN
Director/Videographer Karl Allen is a highly accomplished and multi-talented artist, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. Born in London and now a resident of London and Miami, Florida, Karl is a graduate of Central Saint Martin's School of Art (UAL) with honors in Fine Art and holds a Masters in Filmmaking from the Brighton Screen and Film School. With a strong passion for the arts, Karl has been actively involved in the creative scene, and has been recognized for his contributions. He was a founder and curator of the Downtown Miami Art Project, a collaborative venture of artists that was featured in the 2017 Art Walk Miami. In 2019 he participated in the 777 Art Project collaborating with participating artists as well as contributing a live video performance. Karl's film work also includes a documentary short film, called Drag Therapy (2018) which was featured at the LGBTQ OutFest Film Festival in Fort Lauderdale. In 2020 Karl was part of the Vote the Future campaign creating viral videos motivating minority groups to register to vote featuring Martina Navratilova. His most recent work includes a feature film entitle Crackman and Robin (2022) and a roving travelogue entitled Out and about with Kevin Allen. Karl's passion for storytelling and visual artistry, coupled with his technical expertise, allows him to create visually stunning and emotionally engaging content that resonates with audiences. His ability to adapt to the specific needs of each project and his entrepreneurial spirit makes him a valuable asset to any team. |
